On our way into church Easter morning, Drew & I stopped off near the Iwo Jima Memorial, to check out the tulips at the Netherlands Carillon (gift from the Dutch to thank us for helping them out of WWII) As you can see they did not disappoint! And it's a perfect view down the hill, across the Potomac to the District. (Sorry the carillon picture isn't the best, it was a bit of an afterthought - I was there for the tulips, not the carillon :))

Oooh! Love these too! Especially the middle two. I wonder who plants all those tulips, and do they treat them as annuals or perennials?
