All Girls Football Weekend

What do girls do for a football weekend? Well they watch football of course, but they enjoy good conversation, wine and cheese and good food (Yep, no beer or chili :) ), and they go on little adventures while waiting for their game! (see pictures below) Who said you couldn't have a classy football party?
Our new friends
We actually turned around on the highway to go back and get a picture of this quaint little church...red front door and all!
Oh, yeah....GO PATRIOTS!!!!! I'm still trying to recover from the heart failure I nearly suffered from watching that game.....wow!

President Ford

I'm sure many of you are wondering if I went to see President Ford "Lying in State", to which I answer "you had to ask?" :) I was more than excited to learn that Pres. Ford would be Lying in State over New Year's weekend, how convenient since I was already in town! So yes, Stacy and I went to the Capitol Rotunda and saw President Ford, alas they won't let you take pictures, but this is a souveneir they (a white gloved Marine :)) give you as you enter the Rotunda. It's very impressive to see the flag draped coffin and the military personnel standing at perfect attention, it's really quite beautiful (as if the Rotunda needed any help), I desperately wished I could have taken a picture. But now I can say I've been to President Reagan's Funeral Procession and saw President Ford Lying in State...now you know why the East Coast has it's perks.

I thought I'd give breaking into the battery a try...

I know this is a little late....but here it is anyway...for Thanksgiving weekend (yes Thanksgiving) Rachel & I met up in Williamsburg and did a quick tour. I didn't have my own camera, so I was a little off my game, but here is a small taste of Colonial Williamsburg.
